I started at Intus on September 1, 2018. So I've been working here for almost 5 years now! Time has flown by, I must say.

Wow, that's quite a number! And, what is your role?

I am Marketing Manager! My tasks within this role are really very diverse! For example, I built our website and keep it up to date, I write content for the socials and I create the monthly newsletter. On top of that, I also organize our annual Customer Day and I make sure that everything is arranged down to the last detail. Sometimes I also support HR with a number of things. I'm probably forgetting to mention different other aspects of my job now😉

What is the part of your job that you love the most?

The best thing about my job is the variety! Marketing is so broad and you do so many things within it. At Intus, I can taste a little bit of every aspect and I never get bored! If I want to try something new, at the same time, that's always possible. I have also experienced other colleagues doing it: sometimes they had a different position within the company to see if that was something for them. It is quite remarkable to see that this is possible with us and that every single career is customizable.

What are the things that keep you smiling at Intus?

The combination of fun work and nice colleagues! I get energy from my work, but it makes it extra fun if you get to do it together with nice people. I think that is also the strength of Intus. Everyone is nice, you can always meet each individual and feel at ease.

How would you describe your team in three words? Why?

Phew, that's a tough one. The first thing that comes to mind is 'fast-shifting'. That's not really one word, but it's how we are: in a conversation, we can talk about anything and everything. At the same time, if something comes up that needs to be done, we can handle it just fine. As a second word I would say 'cosy', because it always is. Thirdly, I would say 'enthusiastic', because we can get excited about a lot of things in our work!

Can you describe one of the most memorable moments so far?

For sure the Intus outjes: once a year, the whole company goes to a short trip during a weekend. It is so nice to get away from the office for a while and just do something fun together. This sometimes creates a different relationship with your colleagues because you get to know each other in a different way. It is difficult to choose one moment, but, for example, Antwerp and the wine tasting in Luxembourg will be always memorable moments.
